Aruzhan Ardak Has Represented Kazakhstan at the “Children’s New Wave”

“Children’s New Wave-2019” International Competition of Young Performers has been completed in Russia. At the contest, Kazakhstan was represented by the winner of “Ayalagan Astana” national contest, Aruzhan Ardak.

The contest involved participation of 11 young performers from 8 countries of the world. Aruzhan performed two Warrior songs from the repertoire of Demi Lovato and “Dance With Me” from the repertoire of Polina Gagarina. According to the results of the performances, Aruzhan became the fifth by the number of points scored. Voting was held among the jury members, which included famous artists and musicians: Lev Leschenko, Oleg Gazmanov, Nikolai Baskov, Igor Krutoy and Yuliya Savicheva.

The main prize of the contest, the shooting of a music video, was divided between the participants from Russia, Alisa Golomyssova and Denberel Oorzhak. The second place was taken by the participant from Belarus, Yaroslav Sokolikov, the victory gives him the right to record his own song in a professional studio. The third place was taken by Milana Park from Uzbekistan: she won the right to perform at the Junior Eurovision-2019.

The National Children’s Contest of “Ayalagan Astana” is held annually under the support of Nur-Sultan Akimat and gives a chance to talented children from all over Kazakhstan to demonstrate their vocal skills and compete in the performing skills with the best of the best. The contest has been held for the first time in 2013 and was timed to the 15th anniversary of the Day of the Capital.
