Kazakhstani KVN: The Best Comic Team Has Been Selected in Astana

Astana has hosted the finals of the main comic youth project KTA – “Konildi Tapqyrlar Alany”. 5 teams have been competing for the title of the strongest youth KVN team in the final game: “Tek Qana Qyzdar” (Almaty), “Zheruiyq” (Atyrau), “Arman Qala” (Zhetisai), “Sagyz” (Atyrau Region) and “Qarmaqshy” (Kyzylorda Region).

The final game of KVN has been recently held in one of the largest halls of the capital: “Barys Arena” Ice Palace. On Sunday evening, 9 000 spectators gathered to enjoy the game of KTA finalists. KVN consisted of 3 contests: greetings, STEM and KOP (single song contest).

The main prize, the KTA Game Cup and one and a half million tenge, went to Sagyz team from Atyrau Region; in addition, the captain of the team, Yernar Sakupov, was recognized as the best player of the season. The second place was taken by the team of “Zheruiyq” from Atyrau, the top three of the best teams of KTA-2018 was closed by the girls from the team of “Tek Qana Qyzdar” (Almaty).

Vice-Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Elmira Sukhanberdiyeva, the soloist of Muzart Band Kenzhebek Zhanabilov, the Olympic champion, famous Kazakhstani boxer Daniyar Yeleussinov and the Honored Figure of Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sailau Kamiyev became the members of the final game jury. The chairman of the jury was the Head of Astana Department of Culture and Sports, Bolat Mazhagulov.

– Selection of the best comic team was held throughout the entire year. In January, when we’ve just started the new season, 54 teams from all over Kazakhstan applied for participation in KTA. Only 5 of them reached the finals. During each round, it was harder and harder to choose the best of the best, but the strongest one won, indeed. The Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev announced the next year as the Year of Youth. And KTA is the best platform where Kazakhstani young people can truly express themselves and demonstrate all their talents, – noted Bolat Mazhagulov.

The final KTA game lasted almost five hours, but the audience was in no hurry to leave. The enchanting evening of sparkling humor presented a charge of good mood, the performance of the champions of the past KTA seasons such as Aral-As and Nazar Audar replenished the festive atmosphere. The undoubted host of Kazakhstani KVN was the most famous comedian of the country, Tursynbek Kabatov.

KTA “Konіldi Tapqyrlar Alany” is a new format of the Kazakhstan entertainment show, the humor of life. During three years now, the project is being supported by Astana Akimat. The new, fourth season, is being started in January next year with KTA Teams Festival. The winners of regional KTA leagues will automatically become participants of the season, the rest of the comedy teams can submit an application to the organizing committee of the contest.
